Does your live-in home care have any hidden fees?

No. We have fully transparent pricing terms. After we come in and determine what level of support you need, we’ll provide an estimate that includes all the services we think are suitable, along with a complete breakdown of what it will cost.

If the nature of your care needs change, we will adjust the costs of our live-in care (that's the only time we change costs).

I can’t meet all the cost. Do you have any funding options?

The government provides a non-means tested Attendance Allowance, and you are entitled to it. The NHS also has benefits available that are non-means tested, including Continuum of Care, which is available to people below 65 years of age who have been diagnosed with conditions like early onset dementia or people whose dementia is in the late stages.

Do I give payment directly to the caretaker?

No. All compensation and contractual matters concerning caretakers is handled by Cedars Home Care since they are directly employed by us. This means you never have to have awkward discussions with the caretakers about payment, and you can both concentrate on the help you need and the companionship.

Are direct payment top-ups accepted?

Yes. Cedars Home Care accepts payments of this nature if your local authority is issuing them in regards to your social care funding. Contact us for further details.

With direct payments, you can top-up payments when the need arises. On top of that, they allow you to set up support with your preferred care provider. If you are the recipient of social care funding and want to pay using direct payments, talk to your local authority about it.
